The art collections of the town museum of Art and History in Draguignan, in the up-country of the Var, are spread over six rooms, offering important artwork from the Prehistory and the 19th century. Lovers of painting can admire the work of great European painters, such as Rubens, Panini, Van Loo, Mignard or Boucher and Renoir.
The sculptures of Houdon and Claudel are also well represented.
One room is completely dedicated to history and local traditions. It will bring you more information about the working conditions of farmers and labourers from the Provence of the 19th and 20th centuries, thanks to items from the daily life, the farm or the industry.
