Musée de l'annonciade

The « musée de l'Annonciade », dating from 1922, shows that Saint-Tropez was one of the first towns to make avant garde art, thanks to Paul Signac who saw and discovered this charming small fishing harbour from his yacht the Olympia in 1892. Signac was quickly strongly attached to the area and bought a house where he made his studio that he called « La Hune », and where he received many painters such as: Cross, Matisse, Derain, Marquet.
